Overview: Pneumatic Industrial Tires
Air filled or pneumatic industrial tires are designed for industrial vehicles used in construction, material handling, mining applications. These are available in different constructions (e.g. cross ply/bias, steel belted, radial), different tread patterns (e.g. L2/G2, L3/E3, R4, L5 etc.). These are suitable for general purpose use and are the most common used OE fitment. Key features of pneumatic industrial tires include
- Versatility: Pneumatic tires are suitable for a wide range of applications & can be designed for high operating speeds
- Enhanced Traction: These tires offer good traction in soft, wet conditions on surfaces that have loose soil or gravel
- Ride Comfort: The cushioning effect of air in the tires can reduce operator fatigue by minimizing the vibrations transmitted by the vehicle
- Low cost of acquisition as compared to solid tyres.
However, these are prone to punctures, damage and fast wear and not suited for severe duty applications like demolition, industrial plant, recycling, waste handling, etc.
These can be foam filled to make them puncture proof.
types of Pneumatic industrial tires
Pneumatic Material Handling Tires:
can an option for counter balanced forklifts in low intensity applications on highly improved surfaces
Pneumatic Construction Tires:
are the standard OE fitment on construction equipment such as skid steer loaders & telehandlers and recommended for general purpose applications
Pneumatic Mining Tires:
with specific construction & patterns that are suitable for underground mining equipment for as LHD’s, Roof Bolters, Shuttle cars, LPDT’s, Scoops etc.
Our Products & Solutions
Trident designs, develops and supplies a wide range of proprietary pneumatic industrial tires for forklifts, skid steer loaders, telehandlers and boom lifts. The range includes application-specific tread patterns, that offer better wear resistance & reduce inventory with several design innovations securing global patents.
Our TRAXTER pneumatic industrial tires are engineered to meet heightened user expectations amid evolving industry dynamics with meticulous attention to detail, finish and aesthetics.
Tires are first tested extensively in our in-house endurance machine and then mounted on in house equipment procured specifically for design validation.
We also offer ready-to-fit tire and wheel assemblies, for improved time and resource efficiency.
