Solid Industrial Tires

Solid Industrial Tires for Material Handling, Construction Equipment & Underground Mining Equipment are our core products. Our customer facing distribution experience provides us insights to improve existing products & develop new products that enable the users of tires to increase reliability & productivity.

Trident offers an extensive range of solid forklift tires, solid resilient, press on band, and pneumatic tires for material handling equipment such as forklifts, airport ground support equipment, trailers, reach stackers, container handlers, and rough terrain forklifts.

The Solid Forklift Tires are available in multiple patterns and construction to suit different operating conditions and thus provide the best value, specific to customer’s needs.

Tires represent the highest operating cost after fuel so it’s imperative to understand the tyre related cost per hour (CPH).

While the use of solid tires in the material handling segment is well accepted, the use of solid tires in construction and other specialized equipment is a relatively a new phenomenon. However, this has been gaining acceptance as the benefits become apparent. Equipment downtime caused by flat tires/punctures is a common problem faced by operators especially on heavily used machines such as skid steer loaders, wheel loaders & telehandlers.

Trident has developed a range of Special Purpose Solid Tires specifically designed for industrial, construction & mining applications where machines are generally fitted with pneumatic tires and downtime is often due to tire damage/failure & fast wear.

Besides being 100% puncture proof & maintenance free, solid tires have a lifespan of three to five times than that of conventional pneumatic tires. The zero man & machine downtime along with the added safety of no blowouts results in low total cost of ownership (TCO).

In view of stricter regulations, reduced environmental & social impact, there is an increased preference for underground mining over open pit mining. However, the working conditions in underground mines can be far more demanding due to space & safety considerations. At the same time, the highly specialised equipment is more capital intensive and demands high productivity. This has led to an even greater need for failure-free performance from tires.

Trident’s puncture-proof Solid Tires have an extra deep tread, made from highly wear resistant rubber compounds that have a lifespan three to five times more that of equivalent pneumatic or foam filled tires. Our solid tires also improve occupational safety as there is no possibility of tire blowout related accidents. Features such as specially designed sidewall apertures absorb shocks.

Costs associated with puncture-related issues such as machine downtime, idle operator time and operational delays are automatically eliminated. Durable construction provides customers with a reliable option that reduces expenses and time-losses incurred due to frequent tire damage and replacement. Fewer replacements mean that costs associated with re-purchase, inventory and repair are significantly reduced.

Users thus benefit from a fewer disruptions, longer usage-cycle, reduced tire cost per hour (CPH) and wastage.

Range includes sizes for Side Discharge Loaders (SDL’s), Load Haul Dumpers (LHD’s), Scoop Trams, Shuttle Cars, Roof Bolters, Tool Carriers, Jumbo Drills, etc in Soft Rock & Hard Rock tread compounds
